the requisite breakup cinquain
Ok this really is harder than it looks. Let me know if I've got it right. I tried to go in the order the book suggested: adverb, prep phr, noun phrase, verb phrase, clause.
Crying
quietly
over you
every night
to prove that I'm hurt too
even though it was me who insisted on leaving.

The only suggestion I have is to substitute "who" for "that" when referring to yourself (or the narrator of the poem).
